Ilan Bar-Lavi, in his young career has culminated credentials of a person twice his age performing on bandstands such as the Blue Note, Highline Ballroom, B.B. King (NYC), Yoshis (Oakland, CA), The Jazz Bakery(LA), Kuumbwa (Santa Cruz, CA) and Dazzle (Denver, CO), Teatro de la Ciudad
(Mexico), Ottawa Jazz Festival, NaguaNagua Jazz festival (Venezuela) as well as touring extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Israel and Europe. As an active sideman, Ilan has had the pleasure to record and tour with MTV Award Winner Ximena Sarinana, Arnie Lawrence, Magos Herrera, Isaac Delgado, Alice Tan Ridley and Chamin Correa. In addition he has also performed alongside some of his greatest mentors and other respected musicians such as Tim Ries and the Rolling Stones Project, Cindy Blackman, Paquito D'Rivera, Antonio Sanchez, Hal Crook, Bob Gulloti, Steve Turre, Jay Rodriguez, Myron Walden, and Darren Barrett.
